It’ll work well in period properties with a contemporary edge, or by bringing a traditional touch to new builds.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe knob is sprung, which means you don’t need to rely on the latch’s spring for its movement. We’ve opted for a light spring, so it takes very little effort to turn.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThere’s also no danger of it coming away in your hand – we’ve engineered the backplate and knob to be inseparable.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAntique brass is what’s called a ‘living’ finish because it reacts to the air and moisture around it, causing it to darken (especially in the areas you touch most).
