We’d always recommend using our unsprung lever handles with strongly sprung latches to stop sagging over time.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThere’s also no danger of it coming away in your hand – we’ve engineered the backplate and lever to be inseparable.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAntique brass is what’s called a ‘living’ finish because it reacts to the air and moisture around it, causing it to darken (especially in the areas you touch most).
