Engraving

Our engraving service lets you customise your plates to take the guesswork out of using your switches.

Once you’ve settled on the right wording, the process couldn’t be simpler.

Select the engraving option on the product page, pick the placement (above or below the controls) and type your text in upper or lower case.

All our engraved solid brass switches have a lead time of five to seven working days.

Bronze

When our deep, dark bronze finish is engraved, you’ll be able to see the solid brass beneath shining through.

We think the contrast looks great, and it creates lovely legible lettering.

Antique brass

We use a powerful, highly accurate laser for our engravings, which creates dark lettering on our antique brass finish that’s nice and clear.

Antique brass engravings will age over time, just like the rest of the plate, but the writing will always be easy to read.

If you choose to use our antique brass restoration kit on your engraved switches, the tonal distinction will become subtler.   

Polished nickel

Because we use nickel-plated solid brass, our polished nickel finish is durable and stays looking brand-new.

It also means that when it’s engraved, the lettering will be in understated – but still really readable – matt nickel.
